In bad news today five-eighth Josh Reynolds has been ruled out of the City side due to a shoulder injury.

Reynolds was selected yesterday for his first representative side and was due to take on Country next Sunday afternoon in Coffs Harbour.

Josh had some scans on his shoulder on Sunday and when we got the results back on Monday morning we thought it was best that he didnt play in the match, Physiotherapist

Steve McCullagh said. You could see that he injured that right shoulder quite early on in the match on Friday and it caused him some discomfort throughout.

We sat down with Josh and explained the reasoning. He was disappointed but once he had heard and took it all in he was happy with the decision that had been made.

Josh will undergo a rehab program throughout this week and next with an aim to be available for selection in round seven.
