Five-eighth Josh Reynolds joined Sterlo on the couch alongside Steve Roach, Michael Ennis and Corey Parker before our Round Two clash with the Sydney Roosters on Thursday night.

His Halves Pairing with Moses Mbye
“We are a bit different in the way Des likes to play the left and right half, but we have changed that a bit in the off season. I feel that we’re both pretty attacking halves. I feel we both can take charge of the side and at times I feel we don’t do it just yet, but I know when we do get that combination right it’s two options rather than one. A lot of teams do have that dominant half. I watch teams every week and you see the Corey Normans and Mitchell (Pearce) touching the ball a lot, but for us, I just feel if we get that connection of both of us attacking it can really spark something.”
The Season Opener against the Storm
"I felt against the Storm we went a little bit sideways. We did lose last week, but I felt like we did throw the ball around on a pretty wet night and if it was a dry track I feel there were some opportunities there that we could’ve taken. Our start was not good enough. I don’t think we started doughy, it was just a couple of guys not nailing their role. It doesn’t matter if it’s Round One or Round 23, teams are going to come at you from the get go and there’s no harder team than the Roosters this week. Their forwards just roll their sleeves up and come straight away, so we've got to make sure we’re ready for that.”
Our Next Clash Against The Sydney Roosters
“The Roosters attack looked pretty slick on the weekend and to be honest I was pretty happy with our defence. I don’t think they’ll have it as easy at times. We need to start well and match them up the middle. It’s going to be a massive game and I really can’t wait for the occasion to be honest.”
Should Sam Kasiano Start
“A lot of people do say that (start with your best team) with Kas (Sam Kasiano), but then that impact he brings us is unbelievable sometimes. When we are on the back foot he puts us on the front foot.”
The New Fine System
“I think it’s great, because sometimes a week's suspension for the things that you now get fined for is an accident. I don’t condone tripping, but sometimes it is a reaction."

"I’m sure it will be a big game and both had some pretty good wins in Round One, so it will be very interesting.”
Advice He Would Give His 18-Year- Old- Self
“Just relax. Sometimes I get way too carried away and I’m still working on that. Footy’s a simple game, it really is as we all know and I just feel when I was younger I just wanted to be everywhere, but now I want to do that in a smarter way. I don’t want to overplay my hand. On the weekend (against the Storm), I did have a couple of drop balls, but I don’t think I overplayed my hand and for me that’s a positive.I need to chill out."
