Round 10 Team News: Bulldogs v Panthers

Head Coach Cameron Ciraldo has named his squad to unleash against the third-placed Penrith Panthers this Friday evening at Penrith Stadium.

While Ciraldo meets his former side for just the second time in his NRL coaching career, 2024 recruits Jaeman Salmon and Captain Stephen Crichton will also come head-to-head with their former teammates at their old stomping ground.

Edge forward Viliame Kikau, a fellow former Panther who has recently uncovered peak career form at the Bulldogs, will also mark his first match against old teammates given he was omitted due to injury just 24 hours out from the sides' sole meeting of 2023.

Connor Tracey has been named in the extended squad as he pushes to return from a quad strain that saw him become a late withdrawal at the weekend.

Jacob Preston, who was welcomed back from a fractured jaw for Saturday's heated clash, will be looking to clock some minutes this week after spending 80 on the bench in his first match back. The Club's reigning Player of the Year was given one more week of rest given his teammates' dominance over Wests.

In other team news, Josh Curran moves into the starting side while Sam Hughes drops back to add impact from the interchange bench.
