Three lucky members who personify the values of the Bulldogs Nation were acknowledged for their ongoing support of their team at our home game clash against the Brisbane Broncos at ANZ Stadium last Saturday with these one-in-a-lifetime game day awards:
18th Player
Our 18th jersey recipient Deon Brown accepted the award as a representative of our members as the 18th player– the supportive extra runner and heart of the team that is our Members. Deon has been a fan of the Bulldogs all his life and despite living in Brisbane supports his Club loud and proud attending every game we play at Suncorp and having Bulldogs number plates! He has even converted his wife over from the Raiders and made sure all six of his children support his beloved Bulldogs!
Rookie of the Week
Kathryn Bilby was awarded Rookie of the Week award, presented to a first year Member for exemplary behavior. This is Kathryn’s first year as a Bulldogs member thanks to her good friend Fiona! Her first game was our Belmore game against the Storm and she absolutely loved it! Kathryn has already decided she wants to renew her membership next season!
Ball Deliverer
Bulldogs Member Hadi Hussain accepted the task of delivering the match ball onto the field before kick off against the Brisbane Broncos. Hadi has been a born and bred member for 3 years and loves showing that he is proud to be a Bulldog!
Our 18th Jersey, Rookie of the Week and Ball Deliverer prizes are up for grabs at every Bulldogs home game in 2016.
