The Bulldogs will be looking to bounce back to the winner's circle on Saturday afternoon when they host the Gold Coast Titans at ANZ Stadium.

Ahead of the clash with the Titans, bulldogs.com.au takes a look at six questions yet to be answered ahead of the Saturday afternoon fixture.

1. Can Eastwood’s milestone inspire the Bulldogs?

Lock forward Greg Eastwood will this weekend celebrate his 200th NRL game. Following a disappointing loss to the Warriors, the Bulldogs will be looking to bounce back against the Titans and with a huge player milestone set to highlight the return to ANZ Stadium, will the players be able to find the similar motivation for Eastwood as they did for Reynolds and Josh Morris in round four?

2. Can the Bulldogs register back to back wins against the Titans?

The Bulldogs will host the Titans this weekend looking to make it back to back wins against one of their bogey sides. The Bulldogs have won only one of their past five encounters with the Titans and after a 36-14 win last year in round 23, the Bulldogs will be looking to make a statement at ANZ stadium. Can they get back to the winners circle?

3. Will Bird boost the Titans?

Greg Bird will return for the Titans this weekend after serving a one-game suspension, but with injuries to Daniel Mortimer, Eddy Pettybourne and half Ashley Taylor who was forced from the field last weekend with concussion, the Titans will be looking to their experienced leader to inspire them against the Bulldogs. Will Bird’s inclusion provide the energy for the Titans?

4. Can the Bulldogs register their first win at home?

The Bulldogs will return to ANZ Stadium this weekend looking to bounce back after a loss to the Warriors, but more importantly, looking to register their first win at home in 2016. The Bulldogs are yet to win a game at home this year with losses to the Eels, the Raiders and the Warriors so far. The side has won all four away games, but winning at home as been tough going. Will round 8 provide win number one at home?

5. Will day footy spark the Bulldogs?

The Bulldogs will host the Titans this weekend at 3pm at ANZ Stadium. The Bulldogs only game this year in the day was the 42-12 victory over the Rabbitohs. In a dominate display, the Bulldogs produce some of their best footy of the season and with a return to an afternoon time slot this weekend, will the Bulldogs play the free flowing footy we saw in round 4?

6. Can Rona get another double?

Winger Curtis Rona has two tries next to his name in 2016, but the speedster does love scoring tries against the Titans. In his two outings for the Bulldogs against the Titans, Rona has scored four tries and on both occasions they have been doubles. Will the flyer get another double to make it a hat-trick of scoring twice in a match against the Titans?
