Bulldog players Trent Hodkinson and Sam Perrett spent the afternoon at Mount Lawley Primary School in Perth to take the kids through a skills clinic. Bulldogs TV spoke to Sam Perrett about the visit and the upcoming match against the Melbourne Storm.
The Bulldogs arrived in Perth on Thursday for their round four home clash with the Melbourne Storm.
A big part of the reason to come over a couple of days before the game was to get out into the community and engage with the kids to get them familiar with the Bulldogs and our players.
For two of the Bulldogs players, it was a chance to visit a local school and put the kids through a variety of skills and drills and just mix with the community.
It's a great opportunity for the game and the club to grow in Perth and given that it is the Bulldogs home game, it's about getting as many supporters to NIB Stadium on Saturday.
"The kids had a ball and were talking about Saturday's game...there is a great buzz in the city," said Sam Perrett.
