The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are thrilled to announce the signing of Jesse McLean on a two-year deal.
McLean, 21, joins the Club fresh off winning the NSW Cup Premiership with the Penrith Panthers.
He was instrumental in the Panthers’ charge for the title, notching up 16 tries and 15 linebreaks in 21 appearances, while also averaging five tackle busts and over 150 running metres per game. His form was also acknowledged with selection in the NSW Cup Team of the Year.
Bulldogs General Manager of Football Phil Gould AM was pleased to confirm McLean’s deal.
“Despite only being 21-years old Jesse has built up valuable experience as an outside back since making his NRL debut in 2023,” he said.
His ability to play in the centres and on the wing will not only add depth to our roster, but we also believe he can compete for a starting spot next season.
“Jesse was a stand-out in NSW Cup this year and we’re excited to see him take his game to the next level.”
McLean will begin training with the Club when pre-season kicks off in November.
