The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs can confirm the departures of Josh Curran, Lipoi Hopoi, Jonathan Su’a and Bronson Xerri at the end of the 2026 NRL season.
Josh Curran (Bulldog no.855) featured in 61 games for the Club since making his debut for the Bulldogs in Round 1, 2024 and was a driving force in the Bulldogs’ return to the finals that season.
Curran Makes His Mark with a Double
As a valuable member of the forward pack, Curran consistently featured both out wide and through the middle of the field where required.
The proud Dharug man proved to be a noted try-scorer as well, touching down 13 times in the Blue and White, including two doubles in 2026.
Bronson Xerri (Bulldog no.863) made a splash when returning to the NRL in 2024 after four years away from the game, making his Bulldogs debut in Round 5 of that season.
He featured in two finals matches for the Club in 2024 and 2025 respectively, totaling 58 appearances in Blue and White.
Xerri Crosses Twice
Xerri featured in 16 NRL matches for the Bulldogs in 2026, including the side’s season opener in Las Vegas.
Local junior Lipoi Hopoi (Bulldog no.866) played in 17 matches in the Blue and White after making his NRL debut in 2024, going on to play a further five matches that season.
The 24-year-old forward scored his first NRL try against the Dolphins in Round 12 of the 2025 season, and provided impact through the middle of the field from the interchange in seven first-grade matches in 2026.
First NRL Try For Lipoi Hopoi!
Jonathan Su’a (Bulldog no.869) departs the Bulldogs after seven first-grade appearances with the Club.
After making his NRL debut in Round 27, 2024, the 22-year-old bided his time before returning to first-grade in 2026, touching down for his first try in Round 7 against the Parramatta Eels.
The St Johns Eagles Junior featured in six NRL games for the Bulldogs in 2026.
