Pathways Wrap Round 25: Bulldogs Preliminary Final Bound

The momentum continued in the second half, with a scoring frenzy beginning with Jed Reardon in the 46th minute. Alex Conti joined him on the scoresheet before Chelden Hayward bagged two quick fire tries to bring the scoreline to 30-10.

Dykes bagged his second after backing up a Conti line break, before Hayward nabbed his third out side to seal the victory. 

NSW Women's Premiership: Bulldogs 20 def by CC Roosters 52

It was a strong start for the NSW Women's Premiership side, but it wasn't to be as they were downed by the Central Coast Roosters in Round 10 at Belmore Sports Ground. 

NRLW debutant Giovanna Suani scored the first try of the match, before Shanthie Lui joined her soon after, converting both tries for a 12-nil lead.

But the Roosters got into gear, crossing five times before the Bulldogs responded through Moana Courtenay with the half-time scoreboard reading 26-16. 

The teams went back and forth to start the second stanza as Courtenay scored a second, but the red, white and blues ran away with the match in the second half with a further four tries. 

Jersey Flegg Cup: Bulldogs 16 def by Dragons 46

It was a tough afternoon in the Jersey Flegg Cup with the Bulldogs downed 46-16 to the first-placed Dragons. 

Cooper Toy touched down first to open the scoring, with the sides going back and forth throughout a fast and furious first half, with a Wesley Papalii-Afoa double and late touchdown to Aaymon Fitzgibbon for a 16-12 lead. 

But the Red V flexed their muscles in the second stanza, running away with the contest with a further six tries. 

Ron Massey Cup: Bulldogs 30 def Bulls 22

The Bulldogs will live another day in the Ron Massey Cup finals series, defeating the Hills Bulls in a thrilling contest after coming back from a 22-nil deficit to take victory in the final minutes. 

Trailing 22-nil at the break after conceding four tries, the Bulldogs clicked into gear with three tries in ten minutes, including a double to halfback Damon Humphrys.

Corey Ackers then touched down to bring the scores level with ten minutes on the clock, but there was no reason to go down to the wire with Angus Fahey and Mikaele Senibua scoring to bring the Bulldogs home 30-22. 

The Bulldogs will now face the Ryde-Eastwood Hawks for a place in the 2026 Ron Massey Cup Grand Final.
