The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are proud to announce four local Indigenous school students have been selected for the NRL’s School to Work Program – an initiative that the Club is supporting for the 15thyear running.
The NRL School to Work Program supports Indigenous Youths by organising work experience, mentoring and leadership opportunities to ensure they successfully complete school and transition into further study, training or meaningful employment.
The initiative launched in 2012 with the Bulldogs being one of the four inaugural clubs to join forces to deliver the S2W program.
The four students selected - Alfred Clayton, Ro Ratu Rabici Bolaria, Jaymii O’Hara and Ava Stevenson – visited Belmore Sports Ground during Indigenous Round to receive their official Bulldogs kit and tour the Club’s facilities.
The students have since been participating in a four-day Youth Summit - an annual gathering of the students representing each NRL club – where they participate in workshops and activities centred around cultural connection.
The Bulldogs congratulate Alfred, Ro, Jaymii and Ava for their selection and are thrilled to have them representing the Club.
