DEM MOB to Perform at Accor Stadium for Indigenous Round!

Award-winning hip hop group DEM MOB will be performing at Accor Stadium at our Indigenous Round clash against the South Sydney Rabbitohs!

The most remote hip hop group in the world – born deep in the red dirt of the APY Lands of South Australia (and the first to rap in Pitjantjatjara) - DEM MOB are more than just your average music act.

Fusing hip hop with cultural identity, educational reform as well as political resistance, DEM MOB challenges the systems that marginalise First Nations youth and reimages education as a tool of empowerment.

Their activism has directly influenced education policy, reshaped pathways for young people in remote Australia, and sparked an international conversation about what real equity looks like, with speaking at conferences on using hip hop as an education vehicle in 3 different continents.

Since breakout out onto the scene, the group has continued to blow audiences away at festivals and events in Sydney, Barcelona, New York, Toronto, bringing raw truth to global stages while staying grounded in community.

They’ve supported national tours with artists like Seth Sentry and Electric Fields, while continuing grassroots work in education and youth empowerment, winning multiple SA Music Awards in the process.

And now, DEM MOB will be lighting up Accor Stadium on Friday, August 14 when we face fierce rivals South Sydney in our Indigenous Round blockbuster!
