Bulldogs fullback Andie Robinson is developing a key combination with young teammate Simina Lokotui, which helped the 20-year-old score her maiden NRLW hat-trick in just her ninth game at the top level.
Robinson through the cut-out pass for Lokotui’s third try in the 24-18 win over the Sharks at Accor Stadium, which got the Bulldogs on the board for 2026.
When asked about Lokotui’s potential, Robinson was full of admiration for her ‘wingwoman’, who ran for 139 metres with two line breaks and three tackle breaks.
“She is amazing, such a talented player,” Robinson told NRL.com.
“We have so many younger players in the pathways to the big stage.
“She is incredible, crazy that she is 20 years old, she reads the games so well.”
Coach Brayden Wiliame was in awe of some of Lokotui efforts, which included a 60-metre intercept try.

“She a freak, she just an athletic freak and she’ll keep getting week by week as she builds her confidence,” he said.
Robinson was a standout as well with two line breaks assists, a try assist and six tackles with no misses.
“We knew we had errors and penalties, but we defended them today. That is something we have not done in the last two weeks," she said.
“We stayed in the game. I never felt we were under too much pressure. We got ourselves back in the game.”
The Bulldogs darted out to a 14-0 but held a slim advantage at half-time 14-12 after a fightback from the Sharks.

Robinson praised Wiliame for the confidence and belief he has instilled in the squad as the Bulldogs continue to build their identity in the NRLW.
“Brayden is amazing. Coming off two losses, constantly telling how much he believes in us,” Robinson said
“As the coach and coaching staff that back us one hundred percent, that is why we were able to bounce back. We kept the game simple, just belief.”
Another tough challenge awaits the Dragons coming to Accor Staduim in Round 4.
Robinson said the Bulldogs would take confidence from their first win and continue to improve their execution.
“I think we need to try and replicate today's performance. We need to continue to stay in the grind, we did that well today," she said.

Making the win even more special was the fact it came in Women in League Round.
“It is amazing. It is a huge milestone, to have 20 years of Women in League,” she said.
“All the women who are a part of the game, they pave the way for the young girls.
“It is really special. It is a lot of the reason why we play every weekend."
