NRLW Co-Captain Locked In

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are thrilled to announce that NRLW Co-Captain Tayla Preston has re-signed with the Club on a two-year contract extension, keeping her in the Blue and White until the end of the 2028 season.

Preston, who made history as the Club's inaugural NRLW signing, has been instrumental in building the foundation of the Bulldogs' women's program from the ground up.

“This Club means everything to me. I grew up a Bulldogs supporter so I cherish every time I pull on this jersey,” Preston said.

To be able to commit my future to this Club and be part of where we're headed - it's something I don't take for granted.

“With the addition of some young talent to an already hungry squad, we feel that we’re building something really special  - and I want to be at the forefront as we keep growing. The best is definitely still to come for this group.”

Preston Seals the Win!

Head Coach Brayden Wiliame said securing Preston's signature was a priority for the Club ahead of its second NRLW season.

“We’re really pleased to have Tayla locked in for another couple of years. She’s an important piece of our puzzle and having her secured brings real balance to the squad moving forward,” he said.

She’s put a heap of work into her game over the last six months and I’m looking forward to seeing her growth this season.
