What began as a meaningful community initiative has quickly become one of the most significant events on the Club’s calendar. In 2025, more than 600 guests gathered at Belmore to share in the breaking of the fast.

In 2026, the event will expand once again, reflecting the continued growth of the initiative and the strong connection between the Club and the diverse communities of Canterbury-Bankstown.

Held during the holy month of Ramadan, the evening provides an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to come together in reflection, gratitude and unity as the sun sets over the iconic Stewart Stand.

The event will include:

  • Formalities commencing at 6:45pm in the Grandstand.
  • The call to prayer on the playing field at approximately 7:27pm (guests are encouraged to bring a prayer mat).
  • A halal buffet dinner following the breaking of the fast.
  • Freshly brewed coffee available on site.

The Bulldogs are proud to deliver the event alongside Presenting Partner Human Appeal, whose ongoing support continues to strengthen the impact and reach of the evening. The Club also recognises Event Partners The Butcher Boys and Di Pacci Coffee for their valued contribution in helping bring the event to life.

Following the success of previous years, the Bulldogs Iftar Dinner will remain free and open to the public, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming experience for all.

All attendees must register for a complimentary ticket and present it upon entry.
