91st AGM Concluded: Eastwood Becomes Latest Life Member

One of the Club's favourite sons of the 2010s, Greg Eastwood, has been bestowed with Life Membership at the 2026 Annual General Meeting.

Eastwood (Bulldog no.714), was unveiled as the Club's 122nd Life Member following a decorated career at the Club that spanned nine seasons in Belmore.

Playing 190 games for the Club, including 177 in first-grade, Eastwood played a pivotal role in the Bulldogs' run to the 2012 and 2014 Grand Finals, proving to be a handful in the middle of the field with his strong carries and ball-playing abilities.

The Best of Beast

His final acts in the Blue and White saw him deliver a NSW Cup Premiership and State Championship in 2018, cementing his status as one of the great Bulldogs forwards of the 21st century and a popular figure amongst Members and fans alike.

In 2015, he was named in the Club's 'Team of the Decade' ahead of the Club's 80th Anniversary. Eastwood also featured in 29 Tests in the black and white of New Zealand.

"I'm incredibly honoured to be awarded Life Membership for the Bulldogs. It's something I would have never imagined. I'm truly grateful," Eastwood said in acceptance speech.

This Club has been such a big part of my footy career. I wanted to thank the Club for this recognition. It means the world to me.

"To be acknowledged alongside so many legends of the Club, who have been given this honour is truly humbling.

"I wanted to thank everyone who I have shared this journey with at the Club; teammates, coaches, staff and volunteers, supporters, and all the friendships I've made.

"To my beautiful wife Ash, and my kids all grown up now, I want to thank you for your constant support throughout my career, through the highs and lows.

Eastwood's Brilliant Conversion

"This Club has given so much to me and my family. I was always proud to be called a Bulldog. I'll continue to support the Club in any way I can, and hopefully one day, help the juniors come through.

"I'm looking forward to many more years cheering on this great Club. I just wish we went to (Las) Vegas when I was playing! Hopefully I can get there in a couple of weeks.

"Once again, I want to thank you for this amazing honour. Go the Bulldogs."

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs would like to congratulate Greg for his achievement, and acknowledge his service and commitment given to the Club.
