Bulldogs second rower Jacob Preston has been selected in the 2025 Kangaroos' Ashes Squad.
Preston, coming off his third year in the NRL, has the opportunity to make his Test debut with the Kangaroos following a stellar season with the Bulldogs.
The 23-year-old was a constant threat in attack for the Blue and White in 2025, scoring twelve tries in his 23 NRL matches while making eleven line breaks. He was also a rock in defence on the right edge, making 814 tackles with a 96% tackle efficiency.
His form was rewarded mid-year when he was called into Laurie Daley's NSW Blues training camp throughout the 2025 State of Origin series, where he gained valuable representative experience.
The Kangaroos will kick off their first Ashes campaign since 2003 at 12:30am on Saturday October 26 in London at Wembley Stadium, before heading to Liverpool on November 2 (1:30am) with the final test on November 9 at Leeds (1:30am). All times are AEDT.
The Bulldogs would like to congratulate Jacob on his selection and wish him the best of luck.
