The Canterbury-Bankstown community has once again shown why it’s home to the most passionate supporters in the NRL.
Blue & White Week, a joint community-wide initiative with Canterbury-Bankstown City Council and the Canterbury-Bankstown Chamber of Commerce, brought the region together in a spectacular celebration of pride, unity, and love for the Bulldogs.
Community Comes Together in Inaugural Blue & White Week
From shopfronts and classrooms to front yards and balconies, the streets of Canterbury-Bankstown were awash with colour. Businesses, schools, and families proudly showcased their Bulldogs spirit, with creativity and energy on full display.
The Club would like to send out a big congratulations to winners of the 2025 Blue & White Week competition Giulie Lovis (House Entry), Maher Yaghmour (School), Olivia Di Costanzo (Business) and Amanda Harb (School)!
Bulldogs General Manager of Football, Phil Gould AM, praised the initiative and the overwhelming support it received:
“Blue & White Week has been something else. It’s not just decorations…it’s pride, passion, and fire in the belly. When our players see streets, schools, and homes decked out in Blue and White, they know exactly who they’re playing for," Gould said.
That’s the heartbeat of Canterbury-Bankstown, they’re the reason we fight harder every game!
The success of Blue & White Week wouldn’t have been possible without the collaboration of key community partners.
Mayor of Canterbury-Bankstown City Council Bilal El-Hayek, and CEO of the Canterbury-Bankstown Chamber of Commerce Wally Mehanna played a crucial role in ensuring the week was truly a city-wide celebration and a shining example of what can be achieved when the community unites.
The week-long celebration also included a friendly competition across three categories - Businesses, Schools, and Homes - recognising the most creative and spirited displays. But beyond the prizes, the real success of Blue & White Week was the sense of unity it fostered.
Every display, big or small, reminded everyone that the Bulldogs’ strength isn’t just on the field - it’s in the people who bleed Blue and White. From elaborate shopfront transformations to classroom projects and family front-yard displays, the community showed what it truly means to be part of the Bulldogs family.
With the finals upon us, one thing is clear: the passion of the Canterbury-Bankstown community is unmatched. Together, with this incredible support behind the team, the Bulldogs are ready to go all the way.
