The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs would like to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Wayne Beavis who has sadly passed away.
Serving on the Club’s General Committee from 1985-1986, Beavis was part of the Marketing Committee in a brief but successful period at the Club, which saw the Bulldogs claim the 1985 NSWRL Premiership title and reach the 1986 NSWRL Grand Final.
Following his time at the Club, Beavis rose to prominence in the 1990s as the one of the game's leading player managers, a role he would hold until 2017.
The Bulldogs wish to pay their respects to Wayne. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
