NRLW Round 9 Match Preview: The Battle of Brisbane

Coming into this game off the back of a heavy loss, the Bulldogs will be hoping to aim up to the experience of Brisbane.

Despite facing challenges in their first season in the competition, the Blue and Whites have put in whole-hearted performances, and will turn their attention to the second-placed Broncos this week, buoyed by the return of five-eighth Ash Quinlan.

Quinlan Dazzles in First Start

The hosts continue to build into their season and will be hoping the strong results continue. They turned around a slow start against the Knights last week to post their highest score of the season in their 46-16 win after previously hitting 44 twice.

Team News

Bulldogs: Five-eighth Quinlan and winger Simina Lokotui have been named to return from hamstring injuries, with Anneka Wilson returning to hooker and Adi Vani Buleki shifting to the reserves. Ebony Prior reverts to the interchange, while Shannon Muru comes into the starting side.

Broncos: Just one change for the Broncos, with Reegan Hicks added to the bench to replace the suspended Shalom Sauaso. Tara McGrath-West has been named in the extended squad as she looks to return from a foot injury.
