Preston joins squad for Westpac NSW Blues

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs second-rower Jacob Preston has been called into the Westpac NSW Blues as 20th man for Game Two of State of Origin in Perth to replace injured South Sydney Rabbitohs prop Keaon Koloamatangi (19th man).

Koloamatangi suffered a facial fracture in the match against Preston’s team today (Sunday 15 June) and the South Sydney medical team ruled him out from travelling to Perth to take his place as 19th man in the 20-man squad.

Penrith Panthers forward Lindsay Smith has been promoted to 19th man, but will remain in jersey 20.

Preston, 23, will fly to Perth on Monday (16 June) to join the Blues and will take part in their Captain’s Run at Optus Stadium on Tuesday. He will wear jersey 21.
