Jersey Flegg Cup: Bulldogs 18 def Silktails 14

In humid conditions at Churchill Park in Lautoka, goal kicking proved to be the difference as the Bulldogs and Silktails each scored three tries apiece in a thrilling match in Round 13.

Round off a big fortnight of travel with the side coming off a defeat in New Zealand, the Bulldogs found themselves trailing by two points at the break with Joseph Teaupa and Oliva Smith scoring.

After a fruitless half hour in the second stanza, the Blue and Whites levelled the scores with a penalty goal to Mitchell Woods, and two minutes later flying winger Jordi Mazzone scored what was ultimately the match winner.
