The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs would like to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Lionel Brown OAM, who has sadly passed away.
Serving on the Club board from 1970-1977 during a period of changing fortunes for the side, Lionel also served on various committees of the Football Club during the 1980s - the Bulldogs' most successful decade.
A few of his roles and responsibilities included Chairman of the Coaching Panel, Member of the Social Committee, Delegate to the Coaching Panel, Member of the Management Committee, Delegate to Junior league and Under 23 Grade Secretary.
He was awarded Life Membership of the Football Club in 1980.
The Bulldogs wish to pay their respects to Lionel. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
