Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton has shared a message ahead of a historic week for the Club:
"Dear Members and fans,
As we prepare to celebrate Women In League Round, I wanted to provide you with an exciting update. On Monday, our inaugural NRLW squad will come together for the very first time to commence pre-season training here at Belmore Sports Ground — the beginning of an exciting new era for our Club.
On Monday, our inaugural NRLW squad will come together for the very first time to commence pre-season training here at Belmore Sports Ground — the beginning of an exciting new era for our Club.
Our Head Coach, Brayden Wiliame, has officially commenced his tenure and, alongside Lauren Milner, our Female Football Operations / NRLW Team Manager, is already leading the way with professionalism and purpose. Together with their respective teams, they are carving out history as we lay the foundations for our first NRLW campaign in 2025.
We cannot wait to warmly welcome our NRLW players and staff to Belmore next week. Their presence represents not only the realisation of a long-held vision but also the expansion of our Bulldogs family in a powerful and meaningful way.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the many staff and partners — past and present, who have contributed to bringing our Club to this proud moment. Your efforts have helped shape what will be a lasting legacy — one that will no doubt be embraced by our passionate Bulldogs Members and unwaveringly loyal fans.
Excitingly, we have finalised negotiations with the final two players that will complete our top 24 squad. We look forward to announcing these signings and sharing more with you soon. With a squad featuring a blend of seasoned NRLW talent and rising stars — including the likes of Holli Wheeler, Tayla Preston, and several graduates from our junior representative programs — we are ready to make an immediate impact. The energy is high, the vision is clear, and the legacy begins now!
Thank you for your continued support as we take this momentous step forward together.
Kind regards,
Aaron."
