Judiciary Update: Preston Unsuccessful

Jacob Preston will miss the Bulldogs’ next four games after his bid to overturn a crusher tackle charge at the NRL Judiciary was unsuccessful.

Preston was charged with a Grade 1 crusher tackle on Tino Fa’asuamaleaui following the Club’s Round 9 win over the Gold Coast Titans.

As it was his third and subsequent offence, the charge carried a three-week suspension with an early guilty plea or a four-week suspension if challenged unsuccessfully.

Preston will next be available for selection for the Bulldogs’ Round 15 clash with the Rabbitohs.
