Bulldogs Academy Team List: Round 2

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Junior Representative sides have been named for Round 2 of their respective seasons.

After commanding victories in Round 1, the Bulldogs teams face a stern test as they head west to take on the Penrith Panthers in Blacktown in the Lisa Fiaola Cup and Tarsha Gale Cup. 

Meanwhile, the Harold Matthews Cup and SG Ball Cup teams host their first matches from Hammondville Oval against the Western Suburbs Magpies.

A word from the Coach, Vanessa Foliaki: 

"Penrith had a great win over the Sharks, so we know this week will be a great challenge, but one we are looking forward to," she said.

Our goal is to keep improving week on week, we need to be very good defensively to get the win on the weekend.

"This will be a different challenge to the squad," he said.

A word from the Coach, Steve Turner: 

"It was a tough first half last week, but the team rallied to get themselves back in the game at 24-18, but unfortunately, we couldn't get the result," he reflected. 

"As a playing group and coaching group, you learn a lot from a loss and it's how we refocus and regroup to improve what needs fixing ahead of Round 2."
