A word from the Coach, Shannon Rushworth: "We played a physical and strong Parramatta team. It was a game which I believe a lot of learnings will come from.

"We started the game slow and didn't adapt to the conditions well, which showed with a few errors at the start. But what impressed me was the defensive resolve within the boys throughout the game, especially in the first half. Once we started going forward we got a roll on and in a 10-minute period, we went from 18-6 down to 20-18 in front.

"We have another tough game this week against the Sharks but one I know the boys will be itching to get to and move on from the weekend."

A word from the Coach, Steve Turner: "Off the back of a short turnaround and a road trip to Canberra last week, it was good to see the boys bounce back with a win. Very pleased to see the boys execute things we have been working on at training with or attack and I thought there were some good efforts in defence.

"Across the board everyone contributed, which was the most pleasing aspect of our victory."
