Week 2 of the NRL Pre-Season Challenge will take place on Friday 23 February at Belmore Sports Ground with a blockbuster double-header!

The South Sydney Rabbitohs will tackle the Sydney Roosters followed by the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs taking on the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.

QUESTIONS ON GAME DAY

If you have any enquiries on Game Day, you can get help from a Bulldogs representative at the Membership Stall on the way into the venue, located in Terry Lamb Reserve.

Alternatively, you can visit the Box Office at Gate A, which will be open from 4:45PM, for general enquiries including but not limited to ticket sales, general ticket enquiries, lost tickets, Bulldogs Members enquiries, etc.

MERCHANDISE

Shop the range of Bulldogs 2024 merchandise at the Merchandise Van located inside Gate A behind the main grandstand.

The Bulldog Belmore on Burwood Road will also be open for business from 10:00AM – 8:00PM on Game Day. These are extended trading hours to celebrate match day.

2024 Bulldogs Home & Away jerseys will be available for purchase.

Get down to Belmore and enjoy the live, on-field halftime performance with the Sapphires - the Club's official cheer squad.

The Sapphires, along with official mascots Bella & Brutus will also be available for photos during the evening.

TRAFFIC & TRANSPORT

With increased traffic expected as NRL fans descend on Belmore for the first glimpse of the team in 2024, ticket holders are encouraged to plan their trip ahead of time and consider all the available travel options.

  • RAIL: The closest station to Belmore Sports Ground is Belmore, and trains run to Belmore regularly on the T2 Inner West & Leppington Line and the T3 Bankstown Line. The venue is a short walk from the station down Burwood Road and Leylands Parade.
  • BUSES: A number of regular bus services make stops within walking distance of Belmore Sports Ground, including routes 415, 487, 490 and 942.
  • DRIVING: Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching Belmore Sports Ground including Canterbury Road, Burwood Road, Leylands Parade, Edison Street, Palmer Street and Thorncraft Parade as crowds travel to and from the game. Some local roads may close to ensure pedestrian safety during pre, during and following the event. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
  • PARKING: Parking is limited on local streets and car parks in the area, fans are advised to arrive early and allow additional travel time.
  • ROAD CLOSURES: Edison Lane will be closed on Friday 23 February 2024 from 7:00am through to midnight. A temporary closure of the small section of Waverly Street adjacent to Belmore Sports Ground is also planned. Redman Parade will be closed for parking and pedestrian safety purposes. During the closures, traffic controllers will be in attendance to provide local resident access only.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

As per the Conditions of Entry, the following restricted/prohibited items are not permitted into Belmore Sports Ground:

  • Prams/strollers, scooters, roller skates, skateboards, push bikes, Segways or other unauthorised means of transportation.
  • Glass or cans including aerosol cans or metal containers of any style.
  • Alcoholic beverages.
  • Iceboxes or eskys.
  • Camping chairs, tents or shelters.
  • Flares, fireworks, weapons, explosives, smoke bombs or other incendiary devices.
  • Laser pens / pointers.
  • Drones.
  • Cameras and Recording devices (for commercial purposes) including tripods.
  • Metal flag poles, extendable flag poles and / or flag poles of more than 1.4 metres in length.
  • Oversized banners and flags which are deemed to cause public nuisance or affect patron viewing.
  • Whistles, hooters and horns or other musical instruments (e.g. drums).
  • Confetti or shredded paper.
  • Animals (with the exception of certified service animals).
  • Other items as determined by Stadium management that may cause injury or public nuisance.

If any of these are items are brought to the Stadium, they will undergo cloaking prior to entry by Event Security.
