Crichton Makes His Start as a Bulldog

Stephen Crichton has pulled on Bulldogs colours for the first time, opting to join the squad for a sprint training session today, one month earlier than his designated start date.

Speaking to Sky Sports Radio's Big Sports Breakfast (and alumni Josh Reynolds) earlier this morning, Head Coach Cameron Ciraldo said his decision to return early shows the type of leadership that the three-time Premiership winner will bring to the Bulldogs:

"It shows what type of person that he is, that he wants to come back and contribute right now and sort of form into a leader.

He is a genuine winner, he prepares to win every day. He ticks every box. He is just the ultimate professional and I am really excited about what he can bring in that regard to our younger guys and to our program in general.

"He is going to be really good for our group, the energy he brings every day, the professionalism he brings and then what he can do on the field as well. I am really excited to have him here."
