Vari Group, who became the Club's first Official Women's Pathway Partner in 2023, have extended their support to all of Canterbury's Pathways in 2024.
The new agreement will see the Vari Group logo adorn all of the Bulldogs Academy jerseys next year and is a testament to the privately owned labour hire and traffic management company's commitment to individual development. The Group is highly regarded for excellence, quality standards, competence, and compliance. Now too, it is regarded in rugby league for its’ provision of opportunity for talented up-and-coming and emerging athletes.
"Vari Group's support has been groundbreaking for our Club's female rugby league development. We have seen their commitment to creating opportunities for and giving back to our female community through on and off-field support last year. Now we are extremely pleased to be seeing that support extend across our entire Bulldogs junior representative pathway," said Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton.
Vari Group Becomes Official Women's Pathway Partner
Vari Group's support, which will run until at least the end of 2025 on a new two-year agreement, will extend beyond training and the field of play with the provision of career training and workplace opportunities, plus ongoing funding for the Elite Pups Academy scholarship program - a unique training and development camp for emerging females across the Club's catchment areas in NSW, QLD and New Zealand.
To celebrate the partnership extension, Vari Group staff visited and joined in on a recent Pathways training session:
