Viliame nominated for Ken Stephen Medal after launching the Kikau Academy
Viliame Kikau has been nominated for the Ken Stephen Medal thanks to his outstanding charitable work in his home country of Fiji. The Bulldog's forward returned home with members of Canterbury staff during the bye week, to reconnect with his old high school, support the local community and launch a new Rugby League Academy in his name. The Ken Stephen Medal - Man of the Year recognises the efforts of an NRL player who has not only achieved on the field, but has committed time off the field to community projects. The Bulldogs would like to congratulate Kikau on establishing The Kikau Academy in Fiji.
Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs respect and honour the Darug and Eora nations, who are the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
