Match Day Shoe Drive Appeal

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs is proudly hosting a match-day shoe drive appeal this Saturday, July 15 in line with the Bulldogs v Broncos Round 20 blockbuster match at Belmore Sports Ground.

Thanks to the support of Punchbowl Boys High School and Podiatrist, Dr Maher Said, the club is pleased to be hosting this shoe donation drive on Saturday.

The shoe donation 'kennel' which was built by former students and staff of Punchbowl Boys, will be rolled out and kept just outside Gate A, so that patrons can drop their donations in on their way into the venue on match day.

The Bulldogs have worked with Dr Said, also known as 'The Foot General' to donate over 8,000 pairs of shoes to the homeless in the past.

👟 A number of players paired up with The Foot General and Active Foot Care Podiatry to help push Sydney's leading shoe drive initiative for the homeless.

By appealing to Members and fans to bring their old shoes along to the game, or purchase and gift some shoes by dropping them into the shoe drive 'kennel' this Saturday, the Club hopes that they will be able to take them into Martin Place, Sydney and deliver them to those who need them most.

By working with our community partners, all donated shoes will be cleaned up and given out to the homeless in the coming weeks.

Please look out for the 'Kennel' on game day and support this great cause by donating shoes in good condition.
