Members Appreciation Round: Secure your seats

As we prepare to make a return to Belmore for Round 20, Members and fans are being urged to get in early to secure their seats for this blockbuster special at home against the Brisbane Broncos.

The venue will host its' second match of the 2023 NRL Season, and we are expecting a sell-out crowd of 17,000 Members and fans to paint the grandstand and hill in blue and white.

Interstate rivals, the Brisbane Broncos will face an almost returned to full strength side when they arrive to Belmore Sports Ground on Saturday July 15.

While Burton will bomb away at home, Fox will be back to flying up the sideline while rookies Alamoti and Preston will be carrying 19 rounds of NRL experience come the blockbuster match-up.

The Members' Appreciation Round will be open somewhat exclusively to Bulldogs Members, with a sell-out looming and an exclusive access to pre-sale tickets for registered members only from Tuesday May 2.

In 2007, the Bulldogs retired the number 18 jersey in honour of our Members and fans, and have since continued the tradition by dedicating a round to them.

At the time, Captain Andrew Ryan explained: "Every week we have 17 players named in the first grade side, but when we play at home it feels like we have an extra player with us – an 18th player. That player is our fans. The support and lift we get from our supporters is like having an extra man ready to help us out."

Now, the Bulldogs are calling on their 18th players (Members and fans) to get behind the Bulldogs and fill our spiritual home with a crowd that our Queensland counterparts will be rattled by.

The Bulldogs Member Pre Sale opens Tuesday May 2 at 4:00pm AEST. General Public Tickets will go live on Thursday May 4, unless otherwise sold out.

Bulldogs CEO, Aaron Warburton urged all fans to consider Membership as a way to secure their seats early:

"We know how special it is when we play at Belmore," Warburton said.

“Membership is the lifeblood of our Club. Almost 20,000 fans have committed as Members in 2023. Not only will Membership allow you to access the best seats at Belmore, but it’s also the most cost-effective way to enjoy the occasion.

"It's a great family friendly time to play on a Saturday afternoon, so bring your family, bring your mates and let's enjoy one more match of unbeatable footy here together."
