ANZAC Round

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs will host the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at home in Round 8 of the NRL Premiership, a special Round that will honour our fallen heroes and those who serve and have served in the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC Round).

It is the Bulldogs' honour to wear a commemorative jersey and play in an NRL Round that respects our ANZAC heroes. In honour of the occasion and as is customary, the Bulldogs will host a special pre-match ceremony to commemorate the service and sacrifice of all those who served and died fighting for our freedom:

  • 5:26pm: ANZAC Ceremony begins
  • 5:27pm: The Ode
  • 5:27pm: The Last Post
  • 5:28pm: Moments Silence
  • 5:28pm: The Rouse
  • 5:29pm: ANZAC Ceremony concludes
  • 5:30pm: Game Kicks off

The team will be wearing the Club's latest design, a jersey that has been inspired by our ANZAC heroes.

The Bulldogs 2023 ANZAC Round Jersey is available to purchase now, and all player-worn jerseys will be available to purchase via auction post-match. Auction details will be shared on our social media channels, as well as direct to Members.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway, a local memorial walkway that serves our community as an educational resource and principle site of commemoration.

The Walkway honours all those who fought and served for Australia in World War II and acts as a link with the past for todays and future generations. Donations help keep the memorial in pristine condition in tribute to all the men and women who have given so much in defence of our country.
