Young Academics Extends Partnership with the Bulldogs

Young Academics Early Learning Centre has signed on to stay as a Premium Sponsor of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in a two-year partnership extension as announced on Saturday.

At the Bulldogs Members’ Christmas Party, hosted at the new home of the Bulldogs in 2023, Accor Stadium, Young Academics Group Managing Director James Kazzi was amongst hundreds of Bulldogs’ family Members when Bulldogs Chief Executive Aaron Warburton announced the news.

“The Bulldogs are a Club that are close to the hearts of many of the communities where we operate,” Mr. Kazzi said.

“We are thrilled to announce this partnership extension which will see us continue to support the players, the coaches, and expert staff of this elite sporting Club over the next two seasons.”

The partnership extension means that Young Academics will remain the Official Childcare Centre Partner and Sleeve Partner of the Bulldogs throughout the 2023 and 2024 seasons, with an option to extend in 2025.

“We have already seen the benefits that our partnership delivers for the young children and families that we work with by engaging with Bulldogs role models and professionals to learn about healthy eating, staying active, and the importance of teamwork,” Mr. Kazzi said.

The partnership will support Young Academics’ ongoing commitment to developing children’s gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination through scheduled sports programs and state-of-the-art outdoor play environments, where the Bulldogs will work alongside Young Academics staff to deliver syllabus content.

“Our Young Academics Early Learning Centre footprint is expanding, and we cannot wait to further enhance our health and wellbeing programs by working with the Club’s experts over the next two seasons,” Kazzi said.

“As the Club builds toward some exciting times in the near future, the children in our care and their families will reap the benefits of our innovative collaboration with the Bulldogs and their inspiring leaders.”

A major goal of the partnership will be to work closely with the Club’s Community and Matchday teams over the next two years to enhance fan and member experiences, and to support pathways from juniors to adults in the game.

In a fitting announcement, Mr. Warburton welcomed the space playing host to the Members’ Christmas Party as the new ‘Family Fun Zone’ that Young Academics will proudly bring to Members and fans during the 2023 season’s home game matches at Accor.

“The space that we stand in today, celebrating 2022 and looking ahead to 2023, will be significant to our Bulldogs Members and Family for the season ahead,” Warburton said.

“We have received an incredible family-friendly draw in 2023 that will see us play a majority of games at Accor Stadium on a Sunday and Saturday afternoon. We are extremely pleased to not only be able to welcome more families to support their favourite players at convenient times during the season but to be able to work with the Young Academics team to deliver the new ‘Family Fun Zone’ with engaging activities for those who come along.

“Our relationship with Young Academics has been built on shared family ties and what really stands out to us as their partners, is their ongoing commitment to the health and wellbeing of not only the children learning and participating in their syllabus programs, but their families as an extension of that learning,” he said.

Established as a family-owned business in 2009, Young Academics Early Learning Centre emphasises education, learning, and individuality with a holistic approach to learning and helping children reach their full potential.

“By leveraging our Club’s professional coaching staff and players, we can work with Young Academics to provide positive role models and life-long learnings for children from health and fitness industry leaders,” said Warburton.

The name Young Academics reflects the belief that early learning is integral to a child’s formative years and sets the foundation for lifelong social, physical, and academic benefits.

“We are extremely pleased to continue working with Young Academic Learning Centre and to help support them in delivering the highest calibre quality of education to the next generation of rugby league fans and potential players.”

As the Official Sleeve Partner, Young Academics will receive prominent branding on the sleeve of the Bulldogs’ official training and playing gear in 2023.
