Round 20 Team News: Squad updated for Knights encounter

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have finalised their squad to face the Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium today, kicking off at 2:00PM AEST in Round 20 of the 2022 NRL Premiership.

It was revealed earlier in the week that forward Harrison Edwards will make his NRL debut, where he has been named on the bench for Sunday's match against the Knights. Meanwhile Tevita Pangai Junior has been promoted to the starting line-up, after Corey Waddell was handed down a suspension last Tuesday.

Bulldogs' Jackson Topine has been named to feature in his first NRL fixture of the season. The young backrower has been rewarded for his performance at NSW Cup level, after it was announced Raymond Faitala-Mariner would miss this weekend's game due to injury.

Prop Paul Vaughan will reach a major milestone this Sunday, when he plays his 200th NRL match at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Head Coach Mick Potter welcomes back Jake Averillo to the line-up, after the fullback missed the Bulldog's clash against the Gold Coast Titans after contracting COVID-19. The inclusion of Averillo sees Declan Casey reverting to the extended bench.
