NSW Cup side pounce on the Eels

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have toughed out a 30-20 win over the Parramatta Eels in Round 14 of the NSW Cup at Accor Stadium.

The match started well for the home side when fullback Matt Dufty threw a huge cut out pass to put Jayden Okunbor in the clear to touch down in the 3rd minute.

Though it is the visitors who would take control for the middle third of the NSW Cup tie. Bryce Cartwright hit back in the 7th minute. Moments later, Eels centre Hayze Perham increased their lead to 12-6 in a matter of minutes.

Creedence Toia brought the Bulldogs back into the fixture, levelling the scores at 12-all leading into the main break.
