Kia Australia extend Bulldogs Principal Community Partnership

The Bulldogs are delighted to announce that Kia Australia have agreed to extend their current partnership with the Bulldogs until the end of 2022, meaning that the two organisations will move into their eighth year of working together.

Kia has successfully built a 95 per cent awareness rate amongst Bulldogs fans, and will now look to build on that relationship by continuing to focus on an area that is at the heart of both brands: the Community.

Kia’s partnership has already had a major impact on the club's Community Strategy through supporting programs such as Active Breed (Men’s Health), Be Brave Round (Mental Health Awareness) and the Canterbury Community Kitchen (delivering meals to families during COVID).

Going forward the partnership will focus on creating a positive impact in the areas of Multiculturalism, Arts and Culture and Participation, particularly in the region of South-West Sydney.

Bulldogs Chief Executive, Aaron Warburton, was excited about being able to extend a partnership in such an important area:

“To have a brand like Kia believe in our Community program and the impact that it can have in the South-West Sydney region, is fantastic news. As a club, we are proud to have built an ongoing partnership with Kia that has lasted for 8 years, and we look forward to working with them to achieve positive results throughout all of our programs.

We are excited about the plans that we have in place to take our Community Strategy to the next level, and having Kia re-commit to supporting that is a great show of faith in what we are looking to build here.”

Kia Australia Chief Operating Officer, Damien Meredith, said:

"We have worked collaboratively with the Bulldogs since the inception of our partnership 8 years ago and have continued to do so throughout lockdown.

The Bulldogs contribute a lot to the local community, they’re instilled in it. It’s great to think that as Community Partner, we’re supporting great initiatives that make a difference."
