Round 24 Team News: Pack finalised for Sea Eagles clash

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have named a new look side for their clash with the Manly Sea Eagles in Redcliffe on Sunday (1:50PM AEST).

Brandon Wakeham will slot in at five-eighth after Jake Averillo failed to be fit in time for today's fixture. Sione Katoa has been named to start, with Bailey Biondi-Odo reverting to the bench.

Averillo missing out to injury means Jackson Topine has been promoted onto the interchange bench, whilst Watson Heleta was omitted from the final match day line-up.

With Ryan James and Corey Horsburgh having returned to the Canberra Raiders after being on loan for two matches, the changes from last round are:

  • Ava Seumanufagai moving into the starting line-up at prop in place of Luke Thompson, who will miss the next two matches with suspension
  • Jack Hetherington returns to start in the front row after missing two weeks with suspension
  • There will be a new look starting second row with Matt Doorey and Joe Stimson replacing Adam Elliott (stood down) and Corey Waddell (suspended)
