Mackay, Rockhampton, Redcliffe hosting games in revised NRL draw

Matches in Mackay, Rockhampton and Redcliffe and a triple header at Suncorp Stadium are among the highlights of the Telstra Premiership draw for rounds 20 and 21.

With all teams now based in Queensland the revised draw sees Browne Park in Rockhampton, Moreton Daily Stadium in Redcliffe and BB Print Stadium in Mackay hosting matches in round 20 while two double-headers will be played at Suncorp Stadium, one on Friday and one on Saturday.

The highly anticipated heavyweight showdown between Melbourne and Penrith will be the second leg of the Saturday night double header at Suncorp Stadium, kicking off at 7.35pm.

In round 21 a double header featuring the Raiders v Dragons and Eels v Rabbitohs games will be held at Cbus Super Stadium on the Friday while a massive Saturday triple header at Suncorp Stadium will kick off with Warriors playing the Sharks at 3pm followed by the Roosters-Panthers clash at 5.30pm and old rivals Manly and Melbourne squaring off at 7.30pm.

Moreton Daily Stadium hosts Sunday afternoon clashes in both rounds, with Redcliffe welcoming the Sharks and Sea Eagles in round 20 and Bulldogs v Wests Tigers in round 21.

Melbourne's 2020 home away from home, Sunshine Coast Stadium, will host the Knights-Broncos clash to open round 21 on Thursday, August 5.
