Remarkable comeback falls short against Dragons in Jersey Flegg

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have fallen short of a miraculous comeback against the St George Illawarra Dragons 28-22 at Belmore Sports Ground in Round 9 of the 2021 NSW Jersey Flegg Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

After trailing 28-nil at halftime, the Pups ran onto the pitch with a purpose to start the second half. James Valevatu latched onto a Bailey Hayward kick to the corner to grab his side's first in the 47th minute.

Ryan Gray followed up with a 4-pointer of his own when he buried his way under the posts with the Bulldog's trailing 28-12 after 55 minutes.
