The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have been forced into a number of changes for this Saturday's fixture against the Sharks at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium (5:30PM AEST).
Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Lachlan Lewis have been ruled out due to injury. Watene-Zelezniak sustained a leg infection on Thursday evening and unfortunately had to have a surgical wash out and antibiotics in hospital overnight. He has come through fine and will aim to play against the Parramatta Eels in next weekend's Round 8 fixture.
The NRL approved exemptions for Brandon Wakeham and Aaron Schoupp prior to the line-up being trimmed down to 19 men, with Nick Meaney named to to fill the vacant fullback spot.
Joe Stimson and Ofahiki Ogden, Brandon Wakeham abd Aaron Schoupp were also omitted from the final 17.
With Jack Hetherington suspended, Dylan Napa and Luke Thompson will be the starting props, while Renouf Atoni moves back to the bench.
Atoni will be joined by prop Ava Seumanufagai, who will make his first NRL appearance for the Bulldogs. Ava has previously made 118 NRL appearances for the Wests Tigers (2013-17) and Sharks (2018), in addition to playing for Leeds in the Super League for the past two seasons.
Our Shark's match will see Nick Cotric play his 100th NRL game when he runs out for Canterbury-Bankstown.
