Junior Reps Round 9 Results: Tarsha Gale side upset ladder leaders

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs travelled north to take on the Newcastle Knights at Maitland Sports Ground in the final round of the regular 2021 NSWRL Junior Representative Season.

Our Tarsha Gale Cup girls registered their first win of the season after upsetting previous unbeaten outfit, Newcastle Knights 22-18 to inflict their first loss of the year. The SG Ball side rallied home late to finish the fixture 26-all, whilst our Harold Matthews Cup side went back-to-back to secure a 26-20 victory over the Novocastrians.

The Bulldog's saved their best for last after Indee Brown scored her second in the dying stages to chase down competition leaders Newcastle 22-18. The girls never wavered throughout the match, staying within touching distance of the Knight's to pounce late and notch their maiden win of the 2021 season.
