Round 1 Charges: Cotric takes early guilty plea

Bulldogs recruit Nick Cotric has taken the early guilty plea after being charged for a high-tackle offence in his side's loss to Newcastle on Friday night.

The NSW and Australia representative was given a $1350 fine after his 32nd minute tackle on Knights winger Starford To'a attracted the lowest possible grading.

Cotric took the early guilty plea and was fined $1350. He is free to play this weekend.
