Injury update: Lewis on track for Panthers

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs can provide the following injury update heading into their final game of the home and away season.

After leaving the field midway through the first half with an HIA injury, Lachlan Lewis is recovering well and passed the HIA test 48 hours after the game.

The halfback will follow the club’s return to play protocol during the week and will be given every chance to play this weekend against the Penrith Panthers.

Matt Doorey picked up a PCL injury to his right knee after the club’s Round 18 clash with the Manly Sea Eagles and will not need surgery. He will be in a brace for four weeks and will be ready for the 2021 pre-season.

Dylan Napa is still recovering from a grade two tear of the medial ligament in his left knee and the prop forward will not require surgery.

Kieran Foran (pec), Joe Stimson (shoulder), Ofahiki Ogden (cheekbone) and Adam Elliott (shoulder) are all unavailable for this week’s final match.
