In the race for the Dally M Medal, Cowboys lock Jason Taumalolo has regained the outright lead at the top of the leaderboard due to Manly fullback Tom Trbojevic's injury-enforced absence.

Wests Tigers young gun Harry Grant is only one vote behind in second place while Trbojevic, Eels skipper Clint Gutherson, Panthers star Nathan Cleary and Sharks five-eighth Shaun Johnson are also in contention.
