Below is an injury update on Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Chris Smith from the weekend:
Dallin Watene-Zelezniak
Dallin suffered back bruising while representing the Maori All Stars last Friday night, however, there was no serious injury and he will travel to Port Macquarie with the Bulldogs squad and be assessed in regard to playing in Saturday's trial match against the Raiders.
Chris Smith
Chris suffered a complete tear of the medial ligament in his knee and a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament. He will undergo surgery later this week.
An assessment of his recovery period will be made after the surgery but he will miss a minimum of 12 weeks.
