Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs forward Adam Elliott has been ruled out of the NRL All Stars match due to injury.
After being named in the Indigenous All Stars team, Elliott has withdrawn from the match due to a minor ankle injury.
The 25-year old took to social media to share his disappointment on missing the fixture.
“Absolutely gutted to be ruled out of the All Stars game this year. Extremely proud to wear that jersey and represent with the brothers it’s such an incredible fixture in the NRL calendar and I’m already looking forward to next years. All the mob make sure to get out and support both of our teams and help get them over the line.” Elliott posted on Instagram.
The Bulldogs back-rower will also miss the club’s trial against the Cronulla Sharks next weekend, but will be ready to go for the final trial against the Canberra Raiders in Port Macquarie.
