Tickets are now on sale for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs trial match against the Canberra Raiders in Port Macquarie.
The match against the Raiders on February 29 will be the club’s final hit-out before the season opener against the Parramatta Eels at Bankwest Stadium on Thursday, March 12.
The fixture will be the region's first since Penrith and Newcastle played a trial match on February 11, 2012. Prior to that City played Country in 2010, with Country proving too good by a final score of 36-18.
The Bulldogs visit is part of a five-year partnership agreement with the Far North, with the Bulldogs creating a partnership with the area that will provide funding and coaching assistance.
The clash with the Raiders will be the third straight year the two sides have met before the NRL Premiership gets under way.
