The sporting world has been rocked by the sudden passing of former Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant following a helicopter crash that claimed the life of the five-time NBA champion.

Adored by millions of fans around the world, the 41-year old was an inspiration to many former and current Bulldogs players who have taken to Instagram to pay their tributes to the NBA Legend.

I know I’m no baller nor did I know Kobe Bryant personally but I do know for sure that he was a role model, inspiration to many in this world, and I was one of them looking up to him as as an athlete with such a strong mindset of success! Life is too short to be stubborn, to argue, fight . We have to cherish every moment that we get in this life and value the people who love you and make the most of each day because we never know when our time is up , life can be taken away from us in just a blink of an eye!
