NSWRL 2020 Junior Representatives draws released

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs can confirm the draw’s for the club’s junior representative teams for the 2020 season.

The Bulldogs will feature in the SG Ball, Harold Matthews and Tarsha Gale competitions, as well as the North Coast Bulldogs in the Andrew Johns and Laurie Daley Cups as part of the club’s continued partnership with the North Coast region of New South Wales.

Harold Matthews Season Highlights

The Sydney-based Junior Representative competitions kick off on 8 February and will be played across nine weeks, with the opening match of the Finals series kicking off on April 11.

The Bulldogs Harold Matthews (under 16s) team will begin round one with a bye, the SG Ball (under 18s) side host the West Coast Pirates at Belmore Sports Ground, while the Tarsha Gale Cup (under 18s women) play Sydney Roosters Indigenous Academy at Henson Park.

Tarsha Gale Cup Season Highlights

In 2020, the Tarsha Gale Cup will feature a number of exciting rule changes, including teams being expanded from 11 to 13 players and games being played in two halves of 30 minutes instead of three 20-minute periods.

Meanwhile, the Andrew Johns (under 16s) and Laurie Daley (under 18s) Cups kick off on February 15 and will be played over seven weeks.

The two regional competitions are divided into a northern and southern pool with both Grand Finals being played on April 4.
